United States - Border data shows migration shifts
Migrants and refugees from Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua have changed the narrative at the border.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released new data on southwest border encounters. CBP’s migrant encounters reached 2 million between October 2021 and the end of August 2022, a fiscal year record.
