More VC money is entering the region to invest in local technology startups even as US companies are moving to outsource work to Latin America.
In mid-January, Rest of the World covered the increasing outsourcing by tech companies to developers in Latin America who speak English. Among their conclusions, the competition for talent among tech companies in Latin America has become fierce and costly because they are forced to compete with much better funded tech startups out of the United States.
