Colombia - "Total Peace" and the challenges of negotiations

It's possible that peace negotiations and militarization share the same fate because they focus on removing bad guys from the fight rather than territorial control.

Today’s Guardian article on President Gustavo Petro’s “Total Peace” plan is excellent and you should read the whole thing. One line caught my attention:
