Colombia - Blockades continue and will inspire others

Road blockades are disrupting economic activity. A majority of the public supports the protests but opposes the blockades and that does not appear to be changing.

At least three shipping companies - Transborder, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, and Maersk - have suspended operations to the port of Buenaventura due to the national strike and road blockades that have prevented imports from leaving the city to reach the rest of the country.
