Political risk in Brazil means both the risk of change and the risk of status quo
I wrote most of the below before the news broke that Bolsonaro is ill with coronavirus. The president’s poor health remains a wildcard in Brazilian politics. Assuming his health improves, the health scare is more likely to reinforce his previous views than create some sort of shift.
